Not the same breakfast

Maybe I can say I have boring breakfast in every morning. Normally, I would have four slices of Gardenia bread with peanut butter spread and a cup of coffee. At most of the time, I need to have the same breakfast during the weekend; this is because I need to eat all my bread before it is expired. But today, I have different breakfast on my desk!

I bought a slice of dunno-what-cake from Delifrance last night. They were having buy one get one free promotion. The original price for the cake is RM4.50, but I share it with SST, so it only cost me RM2.75. I see it is quite small, so I squeeze another slice of KY’s home-made sponge cake into my lunch box. But I regretted this morning as the cake for Delifrance make me feel so FULL! So, I have to keep the sponge cake for tea time.

Perhaps I should always change my breakfast routine, so that Chubby Boy will not say my breakfast is boring and tasteless. See, I am still using the same cup from Chubby Boy since I started work~ *Wink*

My lazy lunch
icon1 admin | icon2 foods, Life | icon4 08 7th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

I was on leave at last Friday. So, I purposely went to FF for the afternoon Body Pump class. The class started at 12:30pm. I went there before I had my lunch.

I decided to continue some cardio exercise. I like the environment during afternoon. It is so peaceful and spacious! I simply grab the newspaper without wait from the other. I left the center around 2:30pm.

It was so late for lunch and I was lazy to cook as well. I remembered KFC has the tea time set. So, I decided walk to KFC and get it. I have chosen the set one piece of chicken and one Milo. It was RM4 after tax. I was so hungry at that time. So, I decided to cook instant noodle on top of this tea time set.

What I can say is… It was a peaceful day, and I had a sinful lunch. Haha!

He came back today. Without going back to home, he took the cab came to office directly. He said have a lot of things to follow up. So, he needs to come to office as soon as possible.

As he is busying and didn’t unpack the luggage, he only manage to give us some candies from there~! But, my body is still heaty now. So, I don’t dare to have it. I just leave it in my office. Perhaps will “enjoy” it next week!

Duck Rice

I heard that Paramount Garden’s duck rice is quite famous. I have staying here for more than one year, but I believe today is the first time visit to this restaurant. It was the idea from Keone, by the way.

The restaurant is located near with the Giant Hypermarket. It is called “Dragon-Phoenix Seafood Restaurant (龙凤海鲜酒家). I am not interested with duck rice, so I am not quite appreciate it. It tastes good but too oily (FAT).

I realize that duck rice is more expensive than chicken rice. It is selling RM 5/ plate with rice. You can order a whole roasted duck, it is RM46! Here you can see the portion of single plate roasted duck~! Tempting?

Today I decided to have my breakfast in HEAF. One of the reasons is I forgot to buy bread yesterday. So, I have to eat KeeYit’s ZongZi (Dumpling) as my breakfast.

The ZongZi is given by SuChuan. I don’t know why SuChuan gave the ZongZi to KeeYit, but it seems to push KeeYit to be FATYIT. So, KeeYit just gave it to me as breakfast (I am slim). Anyway, I don’t know when SuChuan made this ZongZi… Because ZongZi festival has been long time ago. Maybe SuChuan Beh Siok KeeYit and just trying to poison her…

Here is my breakfast. An oily breakfast!

Dinner at Little Vietnam

I like Vietnamese food, or I should say I like “localized” Vietnamese food.

After the movie session, I suggested to have our dinner at Little Vietnam at Mid Valley. I found that the food selling at food court is quite pricey. I rather spend my money in the restaurant.

I ordered Chicken Mince Vietnamese Noodle, and SST ordered five-colors-mix-rice. It just some nuts and veggie (SST said got some meat) mix with the rice. We paid RM30.80 for the dinner. The cashier gave us a so called “royalty” card. You will be entitled one stamp with every RM10 you spent. Collect 12 stamps will give you a main course on your choice~!

Don’t see the noodle’s portion is small, but it really satisfied my hunger! It worth my money!

Every time after the bowling practice, I will bypass the A&W restaurant. I like A&W, but since it is a fast food restaurant, so I better stray far way from it. But, I know someday I might go inside. Yes, I just visited A&W yesterday.

I ordered the Chicken Sandwich combo and it costs me RM8.95. It was a regular combo set. I asked for the “twisted ring” fried, but they told me it is only for LARGE set. OMG, I can’t complete a large set!

I have quite sometime didn’t have fast food. It was so delicious for me! But, I have to control my desire next time. It is expensive and high with calories. Some how, I felt sinful after the dinner. Sigh…

Say NO to BN
icon1 admin | icon2 blog, foods, Life | icon4 06 16th, 2008| icon3No Comments »

Every time when I back to my hometown, I will have noodle as my breakfast. At the same time, I will buy one for my mum too. Normally, I will have WanTan noodle with Mee Java soup. The hawker knows my taste when she saw me came. My mum normally will have dried WanTan noodle.

After the petrol fuel gone up, I am expecting the noodle’s price will increase. But, it still remains the same price, RM2.20. Anyway, I can feel the portion of the ingredients have been decreased. They rather to decrease the portion and SAY NO TO BN (Barang Naik: price increased), haha!

Yesterday after the evening meeting, our new boss gives us a treat at the steamboat buffet near with the office. It was the first time we had dinner together, with so much of the colleagues.

All of my colleagues are so conservative kind of person. So, I just control myself not to take pictures for blog. Indeed, I didn’t plan to let them know that I am authoring a blog. The environment at here is totally different with my previous company. It is better I don’t tell about my blog.

Anyway, this evening is going to have another dinner with boss after my bowling practice session. It is to appreciate the campaign that we have carried out few weeks ago. Hope it would be a nice dinner.

Have you try this before?

The first time I had this kind of “tea time” was with SST and KTung. KTung is someone who gets hungry very easily, so, he has to suggest a place for the tea time. He brought us to enjoy the abnormal tea time at Jusco, 1Utama.

The procedures are fairly easy. You choose the pre-pack food and pay it at the counter. Then, you just find a bench around there and sit there to enjoy the food! Besides, you can order your favorite drinks with cheaper price.

So, this time I brought KYit to here. The fried rice is only RM2.90 and the Holick drink is only RM1.50. Yes, that was our dinner on that day…
