LifeLong Sharing

I am going to Port Dickson for teambuilding tomorrow. It is a three-day-two-night event. The main purpose of this teambuilding is to setup better teamwork among our department’s members. This is an idea from our boss since last year after she took over to become as the department head.

I read the itinerary this morning, most of the activities are related to our work routine. There are few motivation and stress management talks during the teambuilding. I heard that the speaker is an Ang Moh (foreigner), and our company spent a lot of money in this.

As I know, there also will have few outdoor activities as. Our HR is so thoughtful; they sent a list of things that want us to bring along for teambuilding. There are simple stationary, personal toiletry, sport wear, casual wear, torch light and outdoor clothing! The last two items make us shock! What are they going to do during teambuilding?

It seems like some extreme hard outdoor activities are going to take place. Jungle tracking? Mountain hiking? All of us are worrying about this. Just for your information, we need to wake up early of the morning for these two days. As I know, the breakfast is at 7:00AM, and the last activity for the day is at 12PM! I can foresee that I will not get enough sleep in this teambuilding! This teambuilding will end on Sunday 4PM. So, my whole weekend is totally gone. I still need to wake up on Monday early morning to continue my work.

I hope my teambuilding is not as worst as I think. I wish it could be a relaxing trip, let me eat there, rest more… haha!

Initially, I am planning to have dinner with chubby-boy in TGI Friday at Section 14. I like the interior design there compared others in the shopping mall. However, ChubbyBoy ruined my plan because he is tired.

So, I just went to PuduRaya meet him again. I suggested having Portuguese bbq fish in Petaling Street. I have long time didn’t go there for it. Then, we just go to have Long Gan, then Gong Wo Tong for Guai Leng Kou~.

It was a simple date. Something that is better than nothing. But, I just don’t know when he will be here again.

I have to attend a team building tomorrow at Port Dickson. The teambuilding will be take place at Avillion resort. I heard it is an expensive resort. However, I am not excited with it.

When I received the email about the itinerary of this teambuilding, half of my mood is gone already. There are a lot of activities which are working related. Especially we need to set our KPT for this year.
