I come back to my hometown for holidays. I need to clear my leave during end of the year. Due to the economy downturn, I didn’t have any plan during this holiday season.I like the weather at my hometown recently. It rains quite often. It cause the cozy day and I feel refresh. Anyway, tomorrow I am going to back to the big city and facing the cruel world. I like my hometown, do you?   

Due to the economic downturn, a lot of my colleagues abandon driving car to the office. They choose to ride with motorcycle instead of car. This could save cost in fuel and avoid traffic congested as well.

So, they were looking for saddlebags to put their stuff. They recommended an online store at cruisercustomizing.com which is providing affordable and stylist saddlebags for the consumers. Perhaps I should come to office by motorcycle as well, and get a cool saddlebag from that store!

We went to Izzi restaurant on last Saturday. We were attracted by the 75% discount advertisement. So, we decided to go and have a try on their food.

If I am not mistaken, you have to order more than RM75 on selected menu in order to enjoy 75% discount. Beverages are not included in the total amount and will not enjoy discount. The cheapest drink is mineral water which will cost you RM3.

We ordered two large pizzas, one salad, one don’t-know-what. We choose to have milkshake instead of plain water. It is around RM9. We spent RM61 for four of us. It is only RM15+ per person. The food is nice in overall. Have you been there before?

This picture was taken at Lake Garden Taiping. It is about 7 KM from my home, but I rarely visit there. A lot of people like to jog at this garden during morning and evening. No doubt, here has great scenery especially after rain.

Cydcor Employees Donate to Pre-Holiday Food Drive

Team members of leading global provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams give groceries and hygiene products during economy slump.

Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) November 11, 2008 — Employees of Cydcor, the leading provider of outsourced, face-to-face sales teams, donated 26 bags of groceries and hygiene products to a Manna-sponsored food drive in October as part of the company’s ongoing community philanthropy.

Amid an economic downturn that has contributed to rising need, many local food banks are seeing heavier demand during the non-holiday season. Cydcor Chief Executive Officer Gary Polson encouraged team members to get involved in Manna’s food drive efforts after learning about the food banks’ plight leading into the heavy-use holiday season. More than a dozen Cydcor employees immediately took action and purchased goods for the cause.

I’m thrilled that Cydcor team members are making an increasing difference in communities where we live, work and play through charitable efforts like this. This effort will benefit so many people at a time of increasing need,” Polson said. “We hope to continue our donations in times when the collections hit a slump - before Thanksgiving, after Christmas and during the summer.”

After four months struggling on the project, it is now to the end of the process. So, I am not required to go to office early of the morning. Now I can wake up at 9AM and have my breakfast at home. Perhaps I can write a blog post at here before I go to office for continuous work.

It is good to have a short term of rest after hardwork~!

I was so busy with my tight schedule yesterday. I even have no time to go for a proper lunch. So, I decided to grab some light refreshment to fill my empty stomach.

Luckily, there is a bakery shop in our office premise. This bakery shop is run by college student in fulfilling their subject requirement. The buns and cakes selling in this bakery are cheaper than outside. So, I decided to buy something the shop.

I was attracted with a small cake and a small bun looks like burger. I took both and it cost me RM3 only! Both items taste good and I feel worth it!

These were my simple “lunch” during my busy day!
