Nightmare! Taking long distance bus in Pudu Raya is really a nightmare for me. I can say Pudu Raya is the unpleasant place in KL for me! But, I need to take bus there to go back to Taiping.
I reached there around 3:00pm and I was informed that the next run is at 4:30pm. So, I bought it and went to Nando’s for rest. I just had my lunch, so I just ordered Ice Lemon Tea in Nando’s. The waitress shocked when I placed the order. She said “Are you sure that’s all? Not even appetizer?†I said “Yes, that’s all. Thanks.†Hell, the Ice Lemon Tea cost me RM8, and I didn’t ask for refill as well… I just sat there and watch my movie (ipod)!
I went to Pudu Raya again at 4:15pm. I expect the bus would be late for 15 minutes, worst case. But, I seem to be too optimistic! The previous bus (4:00pm) just reached at 4:30pm, and my bus still long time to go~!
After one hours of waiting, the platform is getting flooded with people. They started loss to control their anger and yelled to the bus conductor. But, it wouldn’t help at all! We all have to wait in humid, dirty, and expose to the waste gas environment for two hours! Then, the bus came.
It was 6:30pm and I wonder the people who having the next turn bus would reach at what time. I can’t believe such thing happen in KL, or the capital city of a developing country!
P/s: It is Konsortium Bus, fyi.
