I am not purposely want to affront Public Bank, but I really unsatisfied with their Debit Card Application.
I applied the PB Visa Electron on 12 November, they said need two weeks to process the application. I am fine. After more than two weeks, I called to the customer service because I didn’t get any reply from Public Bank. It was at the beginning of December. They told me my application just received at 28th November! OMG, are they hiring turtles for dispatch? It took three weeks to deliver my application from Bandar Sri Damansara branch to headquarter?
At 11th December, I called to check my application. The ‘machine teller’ informed me that my application has approved! So, I am waiting the letter from Public Bank which allows me to collect my card at branch. I am so exciting everyday came back from work. I hope the letter would be at the mailbox. But what I got is just disappointment.
Initially, I thought Public Bank is a very efficient bank. I see the tellers at the counter providing fast processing to the customers. But, it seems not true when it comes to my case. As you know, I am waiting that Visa Electron card for me to withdraw the money from Paypal. Now, I have to put the things on hold.
At the same time, I choose to rant at here rather than file my complain report to their customer service is because they are rude. The customer service talked to me impolitely when the first time I called to them. Now, I hate Public Bank so much. I have decided to ban Public Bank by:
- Do not loan with Public Bank
- Do not buy any mutual which is from Public Bank (except Public Mutual)
- Do not apply Public Bank credit card
- Do not make any fixed deposit with Public Bank
Perhaps I would apply my Visa Debit Card from Al-Rajhi. Again, Public Bank S*CK!

I don’t consider they suck , but still OK compare with other bank. Maybe there a lot of blogger applying for the debit card for you know what purpose and thus their tortoise staff could not handle all of us
Anyway, I normally call them as Pubic bank hehehe. Go and withdraw pubic hair :p

i cannot ban PB as I love their public mutual and their bank counter services as very fast..

hmmmm, i get loan and using their credit card wor….. their teller service was the best la, if comapre to other bank. maybe, in turn of card application, not that good lo…. not only PB i think, last time i applied card from other bank also like that. sigh….

what i heard from my mom, PBB is the best bank if you want to get loan..even if you are blacklisted by other banks, they still want to give you loan..

Another bad response to their service after 5xmom. Sigh, next year I will be getting the card. Hopefully, such cases won’t appear on my blog.
PB is good in a way because their ATM machines are easily accessible. Also, the card acts similar to a bank account which will gives you interests for the $$$ kept inside.
Bear with it for a while I guess. The benefits of the card is great. Perhaps you should harass their call centre, kacau them everyday.

errr… i cant comment much as my little sister i working in Public Bank……. but 4 me i think their services is the best among other bank lor…… maybe u still need 2 wait…. Hope u get it ASAP… Cool down guys…. or nope u easy get old leh….. ang ku ku…smile haha

Public Bank is good, but their customer service is really lagging behind. Hopefully, they read blogs. Like AMBank did.

If they read your blog about you blogging about them and your blog url reach the higher up…… probably you will or will not get a call from them…

That’s interesting because for the place where I work, the card will be sent to the customers. 2 weeks for the card and then you will received ur pin number the week after. 3 weeks la. Seriously, at least you shoud’ve had ur card first in 2 weeks.

suggest ppl that apply for the Visa Electron Card, email to Public Bank after a week after u send the application form for the Debit card, or go to the bank approved, i got my letter after 4 weeks, actually it is consider a very bad service because i need to send email and ask myself
